June

From June 1st 2021; there literally has been nothing but unmistakable cold. But what did we think was going to happen? We are in June, the genesis of winter… hence we should not be freaking out as though June was ever meant to be a beautiful, warm month. Isn’t that what we do with people too though? People show us who they are, that they are winter... and instead of us accepting that, making an informed decision to either stay or leave based on this truth that they are winter; we stay… We naively stay thinking that just because we are sunshine, maybe winter will soften up a bit and together we can produce autumn and get away with just enough sunlight and just enough cold; but neither extreme…And then we learn the hard way, that Winter stays winter, when true to it’s nature, it hangs you out to dry and you find all your sunshine frozen out in the cold. ~ Proverbs 4: 23 “Above all else, Guard your heart for everything you do flows from it”… When you find yourself in winter: guard up, wear your coat, beanie, gloves… don’t just expose yourself, you’ll freeze! ~
